1. What EchoFrame provides
EchoFrame is a digital product. Every order produces a personalized high-resolution printable keepsake artwork with a unique QR code that plays back a recorded voice message when scanned. We do not ship a physical frame. You receive your finished files and a QR-hosted playback page via digital delivery.
2. Customer responsibility for uploaded content
By submitting a photo, recording, script, or any other content, you confirm that:
- You own the content or have permission from the rights-holder to use it.
- You have permission from any person whose voice, likeness, or image appears in the content.
- The content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- The content is not unlawful, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or sexually explicit.
You remain responsible for all content you upload. We may refuse, edit, or remove orders that violate these terms.
3. Copyright & ownership of your content
You retain all copyright in the photos, voice recordings, and messages you submit. You grant EchoFrame a limited license to store, process, and deliver that content solely to produce and host your order (including indefinite hosting of the QR playback page).
EchoFrame retains all rights to its own brand, website, software, designs, and underlying technology.
4. Voice recordings
EchoFrame does not clone, recreate, or imitate voices. Every keepsake plays back either (a) a preset narrator voice licensed from our provider, or (b) the original recording you submitted. You confirm that you have the right to use any voice you upload.
5. Refunds
Because every EchoFrame is custom-created, personalized orders are generally non-refundable once production has begun. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.
6. Lifetime QR hosting
We host the playback page behind your QR code for as long as the EchoFrame service operates ("lifetime hosting"). If we ever need to retire the hosted playback, we will notify customers in advance and provide downloadable copies of their files. Lifetime hosting does not transfer if the account associated with the order is closed at the customer's request.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use EchoFrame to:
- Impersonate, defame, or harass any person.
- Upload someone else's likeness, voice, or copyrighted work without permission.
- Distribute hateful, harmful, or illegal content.
- Attempt to break, probe, or overload the service.
8. Payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and processed by Stripe. Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout. You authorize Stripe and EchoFrame to charge the payment method you provide.
9. SMS messaging
If you opt in to SMS at checkout, you agree to receive transactional SMS messages about your order. SMS consent is never a condition of purchase. See our SMS Messaging Policy for details.
10. Limitation of liability
EchoFrame is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EchoFrame and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or emotional-distress damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11. Termination
We may refuse, cancel, or remove orders that violate these terms or applicable law. You may close your account at any time by emailing support.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
